Why did the W·H·Y Trap take so long to get here?

Since the late 1980s, our RESCUE!® Yellowjacket Trap has been the gold standard for catching yellowjackets.

In the early 2000s, our R&D Department started pursuing paper wasps, which proved more elusive. It took years of testing to isolate an attractant that would consistently lure them and a trap design to effectively hold them.

Along the way, we homed in on hornets and discovered a way to trap them as well.

The final years of our quest for this multi-insect trap were taken up with field testing all over the country, to make sure it was reliable everywhere.

Which leads us to W·H·Y... not only why it took so long, but also why you can feel confident about this product.
