How does it work?

As with our other RESCUE!® products, the W·H·Y Trap for Wasps, Hornets and Yellowjackets works without killing agents. Instead, the insects are lured by the attractant, and die naturally inside the trap.

The W·H·Y Trap uses three separate attractants to lure 20 different species of wasps, hornets and yellowjackets. The attractant kit that comes with the trap lasts two weeks, and no extra food bait is required. A W·H·Y Refill Attractant Kit is available in a two-week supply.

The W·H·Y Trap catches insects in two chambers, with two separate entrances on the top and bottom of the trap. In the top (wet) chamber, they drown in the attractant/water mixture. In the bottom (dry) chamber, they eventually dehydrate.
